Jacksonville Baldwin Rail Trail
One of the longest and oldest paved trail systems in the area. This 14.5-mile linear park cuts through a lush, continuous canopy of moss-draped oaks, making it a favorite for long-distance cycling, running, and rollerblading.
Guana River Trail System
A sandy, looping trail system located in the GTM Reserve. Hikers are immersed in coastal scrub and maritime hammocks with sweeping vistas over Guana River. High likelihood of spotting white-tailed deer and feral hogs.
Amelia Island Trail
A beautifully shaded, paved path running parallel to A1A on Amelia Island, stretching from Peters Point Beachfront Park to Amelia Island State Park. Excellent for family biking and walking.
Julington Durbin Creek Preserve
Located on a peninsula formed by the meeting of two creeks, this trail offers deep woods hiking right in the middle of Mandarin/Bartram Park. Be prepared for occasional muddy conditions after heavy rains.
Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park Trails
The premier off-road bicycling trail system in Northeast Florida. Features extensive, twisting singletrack paths categorized by difficulty, weaving through a dense coastal forest right near the beach.
